myARwin is a tool to support hematology patients using IV butterfly needle for self-infusion of medication.
Through interactivity, the app supports patients in the infusion process so that infusion training can continue at home after the patient has been trained in the clinic with their caregiver.myARwin contains 5 parts:- Virtual training of self-infusion with Augmented Reality (AR)- A step-by-step video guide for self-infusion- Tips, tricks and troubleshooting- Breathing and relaxation exercise- Optional robot coach and quizmyARwin has been created by Takeda in collaboration with Nordic nurses in hematology, patients, care providers and patient associations.
The app does not collect/store any personal data, users do not need to register an account to use the app and all users will remain strictly anonymous.The MyARwin app is designed for use on mobile phones (not recommended for tablets) and can be used on any smartphone running iOS 14.7+ or Android 7.0+ operating system or later.
When the app is opened, the user will be asked to enter an access code, this code can be found in the myARwin Patient Brochure or Caregiver Brochure.
